LENTERA.PRESS, PANGKEP – Desa Bowong Cindea, Kecamatan Bungoro, Kabupaten Pangkep– Sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap bahaya Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), mahasiswa KKN ANG. 76 UIN Alauddin Makassar menggelar Seminar Kesehatan: Pencegahan DBD pada Rabu, 05/02/2025.
Kegiatan ini menghadirkan narasumber dari Puskesmas Bowong Cindea dan dihadiri oleh perangkat desa, masyarakat setempat, serta kader kesehatan desa.
Seminar tersebut sebagai respons terhadap adanya tiga kasus DBD yang terjadi di Desa
Sebagai narasumber seminar dari Puskesmas Bowong Cindea (Margaretha La,S.Kep.,Ns) menjelaskan pentingnya penerapan 3M Plus (Menguras, Menutup, dan Mendaur ulang) sebagai langkah pencegahan utama terhadap penyebaran nyamuk Aedes aegypti.
Selain itu, masyarakat diberikan edukasi tanda-tanda awal DBD, bagaimana pertolongan pertama, serta pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan.
Dalam kesempatan ini, mahasiswa KKN ANG. 76 UIN Alauddin Makassar juga mengajak masyarakat untuk pro aktif dalam program kebersihan lingkungan dengan gotong royong dan pemberantasan sarang nyamuk.
Kegiatan ini menjadi wujud nyata sinergi antara mahasiswa KKN, Puskesmas, dan masyarakat dalam mewujudkan desa yang sehat dan bebas dari DBD.
Seminar di respons positif oleh warga yang hadir, dengan harapan agar kegiatan serupa dapat terus dilakukan sebagai bagian dari upaya preventif terhadap penyakit menular.
Dengan adanya edukasi kesehatan ini, diharapkan kesadaran dan kewaspadaan masyarakat terhadap bahaya DBD semakin meningkat. (M. Afib Syam)
