LENTERA.PRESS, Makassar – Fakultas Agama Islam (FAI) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar turut memeriahkan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-80 Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia dengan menggelar mini turnamen badminton. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada Ahad, 17 Agustus 2025 di GOR Unismuh Makassar.
Turnamen yang diikuti oleh 22 dosen dan karyawan FAI ini mempertandingkan kategori ganda putra dan ganda putri. Selain sebagai ajang olahraga, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan mempererat silaturahmi civitas akademika FAI Unismuh Makassar.
Dekan Fakultas Agama Islam Unismuh Makassar, Amirah Mawardi, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan tersebut merupakan wujud semangat kebersamaan dalam merayakan hari kemerdekaan sekaligus memperkuat persaudaraan di lingkungan kampus, khususnya di Fakultas Agama Islam.
Dalam kategori ganda putra, pasangan Pak Mursyid Fikri & Pak Alamsyah berhasil keluar sebagai juara pertama. Disusul Pak Ferdinan & Pak Azhar di posisi kedua, dan Pak Ahmad Nasir & Multazam di posisi ketiga.
Sementara itu, di kategori ganda putri, pasangan Ibu Indriana & Ibu Suhena tampil sebagai juara pertama. Posisi kedua diraih oleh Ibu Rahmi Dewanti, dan Ibu Nur Fadillah & Ibu Rosmalina Kemala menempati peringkat ketiga.
Kegiatan berlangsung meriah dengan dukungan dari seluruh civitas akademika. Panitia berharap turnamen ini bisa menjadi agenda rutin setiap momentum peringatan HUT RI, sekaligus menghidupkan semangat sportivitas dan kebersamaan di lingkungan Fakultas Agama Islam Unismuh Makassar.
