LENTERA.PROSES, Makassar – Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam (HIMAPRODI KPI) Unismuh Makassar mengadakan kunjungan studi media ke Museum Kota Makassar, Jumat (10/09).
Kegiatan ini bertujuan memperkaya pemahaman mahasiswa tentang sejarah media lokal dan pelestarian budaya melalui komunikasi visual.
Kunjungan ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa KPI dan lembaga himpunan sefakultas Agama Islam. Mereka disambut langsung oleh pengelola museum dan diajak menyusuri koleksi sejarah Kota Makassar, termasuk arsip dan media visual peninggalan masa lampau.
Ketua HIMAPRODI KPI, Muh Fadhil Firjatullah, menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program kerja Bidang Humas & IT.
“Kami ingin mahasiswa melihat museum sebagai media komunikasi publik yang menyampaikan pesan sejarah secara visual,” ujarnya.
Salah satu peserta, Erika Amanda, menilai museum mampu menjadi sarana komunikasi efektif dalam menyampaikan identitas lokal. Sementara itu, pihak museum melalui Andi Syahrul menyambut baik kunjungan ini dan berharap kerja sama edukatif terus berlanjut.
Kegiatan ini diharapkan membuka perspektif mahasiswa bahwa media bukan hanya soal teknologi, tapi juga alat pelestarian nilai dan sejarah masyarakat.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
