LENTERA.PRESS, Makassar – Gerakan Pemuda Islam Sulawesi Selatan (GPI Sulsel) kembali menegaskan komitmennya dalam menghadirkan program-program kebermanfaatan bagi umat di Pulau Sulawesi. Melalui program penyaluran Al-Qur’an, GPI Sulsel memulai langkah awal kebangkitannya dengan menyerahkan bantuan Al-Qur’an kepada Rumah Tahfidz Ikatan Alumni Darul Huffadh (IKDH) Makassar, Jumat (2/1/2026).
Penyerahan bantuan tersebut merupakan titik pertama program kebermanfaatan GPI Sulsel di wilayah Sulawesi Selatan. Bantuan Al-Qur’an diserahkan secara langsung oleh Muh Imran selaku Ketua Caretaker PW GPI Sulawesi Selatan dan diterima oleh Abdullah Al-Mudzakkir, Ketua Umum terpilih IKDH Makassar, bertempat di Sekretariat IKDH Makassar.
Muh Imran menyampaikan bahwa program ini merupakan simbol kebangkitan kembali gerakan kepemudaan Islam di Sulawesi yang berorientasi pada kerja-kerja nyata dan keberpihakan terhadap kebutuhan umat.
“Kami berharap GPI dapat kembali menyinari bumi Sulawesi dengan program-program kebermanfaatan. Penyaluran Al-Qur’an ini adalah langkah awal untuk menghidupkan kembali semangat gerakan anak muda dalam memberikan manfaat sebesar-besarnya bagi umat,” ujar Muh Imran kepada awak media.
Ia menegaskan, amanah sebagai Ketua Caretaker PW GPI Sulsel akan difokuskan pada konsolidasi gerakan dan penguatan program sosial-keumatan, khususnya di bidang keagamaan, pendidikan, dan pembinaan generasi muda.
Sementara itu, Abdullah Al-Mudzakkir menyambut baik kolaborasi tersebut dan menyatakan kesiapan IKDH Makassar untuk bersinergi dalam misi dakwah dan pencerdasan umat.
“Kami sangat mengapresiasi langkah GPI Sulsel. IKDH siap berkolaborasi untuk umat, khususnya dalam upaya memberantas buta huruf Al-Qur’an dan memperluas akses pendidikan tahfidz di tengah masyarakat,” ungkap Abdullah.
Sebagai informasi, program penyaluran Al-Qur’an merupakan salah satu program prioritas Pengurus Pusat Gerakan Pemuda Islam (PP GPI). Bagi pondok pesantren, rumah tahfidz, atau lembaga Qur’ani yang ingin mendapatkan program tersebut, dapat menghubungi pengurus GPI di wilayah atau daerah masing-masing.
Melalui langkah ini, GPI Sulsel berharap dapat kembali menjadi motor penggerak pemuda Islam yang progresif, solutif, dan konsisten menghadirkan kebermanfaatan nyata bagi umat dan bangsa.
