LENTERA PRESS, Jakarta – Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia (KAMMI) melalui PW KAMMI Sulawesi Selatan, PW KAMMI Sulawesi Tenggara, PW KAMMI Maluku, dan PW KAMMI Jakarta Raya menggelar diskusi publik nasional secara daring pada Rabu, 31 Desember 2025.
Diskusi ini mengangkat tema “Setelah Pulau Sumatera: Pulau Mana Lagi yang Akan Jadi Tumbal Bisnis Ekstraktif?”
Agenda tersebut diikuti oleh kader KAMMI dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia, khususnya dari NTB, Maluku, Sulawesi, dan Jakarta, dengan menghadirkan para pimpinan wilayah sebagai narasumber utama.
Ketua Umum PW KAMMI Jakarta Raya, Andre, dalam pengantarnya menegaskan bahwa ekspansi bisnis ekstraktif harus menjadi isu prioritas gerakan mahasiswa karena menyangkut masa depan rakyat dan kelestarian lingkungan.
“Ini perlu kita refleksikan dan dorong sebagai agenda prioritas.
Dampak bisnis ekstraktif sudah nyata dirasakan rakyat, khususnya di Sumatera, termasuk di kampung halaman saya sendiri di Aceh,” ujarnya saat memantik diskusi.
Ia menambahkan bahwa kekayaan alam Indonesia yang melimpah tidak akan berarti jika tidak dikelola secara adil dan berkelanjutan.
Sementara itu, Rahmad, PLT Ketua Umum PW KAMMI Sulawesi Tenggara, menyoroti lemahnya tata kelola kehutanan dan pertambangan.
“Pengelolaan hutan tidak efektif, izin pertambangan dan penebangan hutan tidak tertata rapi. Pemerintah seharusnya menyiapkan langkah deforestasi dan pemulihan lingkungan pasca tambang,” tegasnya.
Rahmad juga menekankan pentingnya evaluasi terhadap regulasi, termasuk revisi Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja serta transparansi data izin perusahaan.
Senada dengan itu, Mustakim Rumasukun, PLT Ketua Umum PW KAMMI Maluku, menegaskan bahwa eksploitasi sumber daya alam harus berpijak pada keadilan sosial.
“Pemerintah harus serius menjaga hutan-hutan kita yang kaya. Reboisasi pasca tambang wajib dilakukan, dan jangan sampai oligarki semakin kaya sementara rakyat menjadi budak tambang dan penebangan hutan di sekitar pemukiman mereka,” tegasnya.
Dari Sulawesi Selatan,
Muh. Imran, PLT Ketua Umum PW KAMMI Sulsel, mengingatkan bahwa Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan sangat rentan terhadap dampak kerusakan ekologis.
“Pembukaan tambang, perluasan sawit, karet, serta reklamasi yang tidak terkendali berpotensi besar memicu bencana. Karena itu, kebijakan izin harus dikaji secara serius melalui AMDAL yang berpihak pada masyarakat dan lingkungan,” ujarnya.
Ia menegaskan bahwa seluruh pengurus wilayah KAMMI perlu mendorong isu ini ke tingkat pusat agar tidak terjadi kerusakan ekologis yang masif dan berulang.
Diskusi berlangsung lebih dari satu jam dengan dinamika dialog yang aktif antara narasumber dan peserta.
KAMMI memastikan agenda ini akan berlanjut pada sesi berikutnya dengan melibatkan lebih banyak wilayah sebagai bentuk konsistensi gerakan dalam mengawal isu lingkungan dan keadilan ekologis nasional.
