LENTERA PRESS, Jakarta – Kepala Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Prof. Taruna Ikrar menegaskan bahwa sinergi, inovasi regulasi, dan kolaborasi berbasis konsep ABG (Academic, Business,Government) merupakan fondasi utama dalam mempercepat transformasi kesehatan nasional. Senin, 06/10/2025.
Pesan ini disampaikan saat membuka Rapat Koordinasi Komite Kebijakan Sektor Kesehatan (KKSK) Triwulan III Tahun 2025 di Auditorium Merah Putih BPOM, Jakarta.
Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh Menteri Kesehatan Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Menteri Kependudukan dan Pembangunan Keluarga/Kepala BKKBN Wihaji, Wakil Menteri Kesehatan Dante Saksono Harbuwono, dan Wakil Menteri Kependudukan dan Pembangunan Keluarga Ratu Ayu Isyana Bagoes Oka.
Turut hadir pula pimpinan lembaga anggota KKSK, antara lain Ketua Dewan Pengawas BPJS Kesehatan Abdul Kadir, Direktur Utama BPJS Kesehatan Ali Ghufron Mukti, Ketua Dewan Komisioner Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) yang diwakili Deputi Komisioner Pengawasan Perasuransian, Penjaminan, dan Dana Pensiun Iwan Pasila, serta Ketua Dewan Jaminan Sosial Nasional (DJSN) yang diwakili anggota DJSN Nikodemus Beriman Purba.
Dalam sambutannya, Prof. Taruna Ikrar menyampaikan bahwa kolaborasi lintas sektor harus berjalan dalam satu harmoni — antara dunia akademik yang melahirkan inovasi, sektor bisnis yang menggerakkan produksi dan investasi, serta pemerintah yang memastikan regulasi berjalan untuk kemaslahatan rakyat.
“Konsep ABG Academic, Business, dan Government adalah poros percepatan transformasi kesehatan. Hanya dengan kolaborasi tiga pilar ini, kita bisa melahirkan kebijakan yang ilmiah, berdaya saing, dan berdampak langsung bagi masyarakat,” ujar Taruna.
BPOM juga mengangkat topik strategis “Penguatan Regulasi Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP) untuk Meningkatkan Akses Obat Inovatif.”
Melalui penerbitan Peraturan BPOM Nomor 8 Tahun 2025, lembaga ini berkomitmen mempercepat akses terhadap terapi advanced seperti sel punca dan terapi gen, sekaligus menjamin perlindungan kesehatan masyarakat.
Selain itu, BPOM kini tengah menunggu hasil akhir asesmen untuk menjadi WHO Listed Authority (WLA) — pengakuan internasional atas kapasitas regulatori sejajar dengan otoritas negara maju. Dalam kesempatan yang sama, BPOM dan Kementerian Kesehatan juga menandatangani Project Charter Interoperabilitas Data, tonggak penting dalam membangun sistem kesehatan nasional berbasis data yang aman, terintegrasi, dan berstandar global.
“Inovasi regulasi dan digitalisasi data adalah dua sayap transformasi. Namun yang membuatnya terbang tinggi adalah sinergi — sinergi manusia, lembaga, dan niat baik untuk melindungi rakyat,” pungkas Prof. Taruna Ikrar menutup sambutannya.
