LENTERA PRESS, Makassar – Dua tahun sudah genosida di Palestina berlangsung dan menelan korban dari berbagai kalangan, mulai dari anak-anak hingga orang tua. Menyikapi tragedi kemanusiaan tersebut, Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia (KAMMI) Makassar dengan tegas mengutuk keras aksi pembantaian yang dilakukan oleh Israel terhadap rakyat Palestina.
Sekretaris Jenderal KAMMI Makassar, Muhammad Ilham, menegaskan bahwa genosida yang terjadi di Palestina merupakan kejahatan kemanusiaan yang tidak dapat ditoleransi.
“Genosida di Palestina adalah hal yang kita semua kutuk bersama. Indonesia, sesuai amanat konstitusi, telah menegaskan dukungan terhadap kemerdekaan bangsa lain, termasuk Palestina,” ujarnya, Ahad (12/10/2025).
Dalam momentum dua tahun genosida Palestina ini, KAMMI Makassar turut bergabung dalam aksi damai di Kota Makassar sebagai bentuk solidaritas dan dukungan terhadap kemerdekaan Palestina.
“KAMMI Makassar berdiri bersama masyarakat Palestina dan seluruh rakyat Indonesia untuk menegakkan hak-hak kemanusiaan di dunia,” tegas Ilham.
Aksi damai tersebut juga dirangkaikan dengan long march dan peragaan simbolis mayat sebagai bentuk protes terhadap kekejaman Israel yang telah merenggut banyak nyawa tak berdosa.
“Kami berharap tragedi kemanusiaan ini segera berakhir dan tidak terus menelan korban di tanah Palestina,” tutupnya.
